That primal pulse
After a successful debut at the Festival in 2014, Lara is returning this year to perform more of her poetry (in Afrikaans and English). Themes will range from chickpeas, thighs, shivers, cross roads, silence, bells, potters to dolosgooiers. Poetry is wilful. It never lets her rest. She heeds its call. She will not fall if she keeps on beating with that primal pulse called poetry.
