Dying of Love, Voices of the Unrequited
Someone once said that if you love someone and that love is not returned, then it is not love! Why is it then that some mortal souls literally feel they will die from unreturned love. This presentation is a poetic journey into the pain, humour and obsessions of unrequited love.
Mary is an author of non-fiction and a PhD candidate in Environmental Education. Her own dabblings in poetry pluck away at the yearning aches of love. She is an entrepreneur, activist and cooking-nut. She has developed a recent obsession with swimming. A proud resident of McGregor, Mary likes to strike a balance between healthy debate and her daily need to meditate. She has yet to find a balance with love.
